What a week! We've been hard at work on finishing off the remote design and getting ready to start making the first samples. We've optimised the PCB layout to allow for a smaller mainboard so we can reduce the overall width of the remote shaft to have a more comfortable hand feel. We're really happy with the progress that's being made and can't wait to get the first samples completed to start the next round of testing.
We've had some of our test riders out on the 100mm Constrictor wheels to give us feedback so we can make final urethane formula changes before we start pouring production wheels. At this stage the 86a wheels appear to be the winner, giving amazing traction on varied surfaces, and even in the wet.
Stay tuned for more updates, including more details about our swappable battery packs, showing off the mechanism and how they work.
